Temporary Policy Update - BC Flooding & Road Closures

Due to unprecedented conditions that are out of our control, shipping costs have tripled and delivery times are all over the place. We suggest in-store pick-up if at all possible. We may send an email or call you to go over the current situation for shipping and may cancel your order if we cannot get in contact within 2-3 days. Shipping

All in-stock items are shipped within 2-3 business days. Shipments are sent Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays. We have carefully selected the fastest, most reliable shipping methods for all eligible products on our site. Your order will ship via UPS, FedEx, Purolator, Canpar, or Canada Post. Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays, as our shipping partners do not typically deliver on the weekends or on statutory holidays.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with the shipment details and a tracking number for the shipment.

If for any reason there will be delays with your order, a Baby & Me customer service representative will contact you within 48 hours of the time your order was placed to discuss alternative shipping options. Some orders may be shipped separately due to the size or quantity of items ordered. If there are any discrepancies with shipping totals, or over-sized items that may require additional shipping charges a Baby & Me customer service representative will contact you to discuss price changes or alternative shipping options.

Once an order has been shipped, our shipping partners may attempt to deliver the order no more than twice. If the recipient is unavailable to receive the order during the first delivery attempt, a delivery notification may be left at the recipient’s door with instructions specific to that shipping partner. If our shipping partners remain unsuccessful in their delivery attempts, the order will be held at the shipping partner’s depot for a limited time, after which the order will be shipped back to Baby & Me. If an order is shipped back to Baby&Me due to unsuccessful delivery, additional shipping will need to be paid by the customer in order to arrange a re-delivery.

We reserve the right to limit quantities available for sale. We also reserve the right to, at any time, correct, cancel, reject, or terminate any order for any reason at our sole discretion, whether or not the order has been submitted, confirmed and/or charged to your credit card.

At this time, we are only able to ship orders within Canada; we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our Free Shipping offer excludes but is not limited to furniture items, clearance or sale items, and select oversized items. Please see product description for any shipping limitations. This offer may be modified or terminated at any time without notice. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to unauthorized, altered, or ineligible use of a discount. This offer is not valid on previous purchases or returns.

Receiving Your Shipment

The recipient of the order must be present to receive, inspect & sign for the delivery. Before signing and receiving your order please review the following:

  • Check to ensure you have received the proper number of packages
  • Check for any damage to the packaging
  • Take a photo of any damage to the packaging

The recipient signature indicates acceptance of the package. If there is any damage to the package please be as detailed as possible on the packing slip before signing and accepting the package. If you sign for the package without noting issues you are accepting the package and its contents as is.

If there are any discrepancies with the order please note this on the packing slip prior to signing. Our shipping partners will not honour any insurance claims if damages or shortages are not recorded and we will therefore be unable to honour any returns. Once the package has been received please immediately check the contents of your order.

Baby & Me is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages once our shipping partners have marked them as delivered. If you would like your order to be sent with signature required, please contact us prior to the order being shipped.

Any claims for damages or order discrepancies must be submitted in writing to orders@babyandme.ca within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Returns

Baby & Me is committed to making sure that the product you purchased is the best product for you. 

With proof of purchase, we will accept non-sale items in unused condition, with unopened and undamaged packaging, for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, or for a gift card within 30 days of purchase. Gifts and gift receipts are valid for a gift card only.

For safety, health, and hygienic reasons, some products are final sale and cannot be returned. These products include, but are not limited to:    

  • Breast pumps & accessories
  • Car seats & car seat bases
  • Strollers
  • Furniture
  • Mattresses & waterproofing covers
  • Highchairs 
  • Ear protection
  • Safety gates & baby-proofing products
  • Pacifiers 
  • Teethers

If an item is deemed not re-saleable, or is outside of our return policy, a refund will not be issued. In the case of an exception being made, outside of our return policy, a restocking fee may be deducted from the refund amount.

Any items purchased online must be brought back or shipped back to our store location. Any shipping fees paid by the customer when sending the order out are non-refundable. Any shipping fees required for shipping the return back to the store are solely the customer's responsibility.

Refunds are issued once an item has been received, inspected, and approved at our store location. If an item is deemed not valid for a return, the customer will be notified and the item will be held for up to 7 days. The customer may choose to take the item back or leave it with the store to dispose of. If the customer chooses to take the item back, any shipping fees required for shipping the items back to the customer are solely the customer's responsibility.

 

Any claims for manufacturer defects must be submitted in writing to orders@babyandme.ca. Any manufacturing defects must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the order.

We require the following information for all defects:

  • Item and defect description
  • Photos of the item and photos of the defect
  • A copy of the original receipt or gift receipt
  • Model number if applicable
  • Manufacture date if applicable
