Naturepedic Crib Mattress (2-Stage Organic Breathable)

The Naturepedic Organic Breathable 2-Stage Crib Mattress combines breathability and waterproofing for a safe, healthy and hygienic crib mattress design. The mattress starts with a firm, flat waterproof surface made from non-GMO sugarcane that is so pure, it actually meets food contact standards and easily wipes clean. This approach protects the inside of the mattress from urine, spit-up, and other messes.

Naturepedic then added a 3-dimensional cover with a soft organic cotton surface for increased airflow. This unique cover creates a breathable space under the baby which improves temperature regulation and allows the baby to breathe directly through the sleep surface if necessary. The cover also features a waterproof backing which eliminates the need for an additional waterproof pad.

Finally, the flexible 2-stage design allows the mattress to grow with your child for years to come. Breathable for Safety and Comfort 
The Breathable Mattress Pad maximizes airflow around the baby, which keeps baby cool and dry for a more comfortable sleep. The pad, when used with a waterproof crib mattress, provides air circulation without the hygiene risks of non-waterproof breathable mattresses to help baby breathe safe. The mattress can be used with or without the breathable pad.

Luxurious organic cotton fabric, with easy-to-clean polyethylene waterproof surface (so pure it meets food contact standards), provides a stain resistant waterproof mattress cover. 
   
Organic Cotton Filling 
Organic cotton is the purest form of cotton and a healthier alternative to synthetic fabrics and foams. Naturepedic uses only U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for its mattresses and buys directly from USDA certified sources. 
   
Firm Comfortable Support 
Naturepedic's patented Wavesupport™ technology, made from pure food-grade polyethylene, provides excellent support and durability that rivals innersprings and premium foams. The wave structure achieves incredible strength with less material, offering an ultra lightweight design with increased structural stability as compared to conventional foams. It is both firm and comfortable, with strong side, center and corner support, and best of all, no polyurethane foam!
 
Seamless Waterproof Edges 
Heat sealed waterproof seams provide a more contemporary look and also prevent moisture penetration for a more hygienic design. This also prevents dust mites and bed bugs. Dust mites and bed bugs would typically live in the seams and enter through the sewn holes, but with this completely sealed Naturepedic mattress, there's no where for them to go! This construction is also more durable as it reduces the possibility of the seam tearing or the thread breaking and unraveling. Wipes clean to the edge!

2-Stage Dual Firmness
